Spice launched Pinnacle smartphone with full-HD screen at ₹ 16,990.

The smartphone has a 1.5 GHz quad-core processor, a 5-inch Full HD (1920 x 1080) Display. It also supports Bluetooth 4.0 and comes equipped with a Proximity sensor, G-sensor, and Light sensor. The smartphone supports 3G connectivity and is a dual-SIM device.

The Spice Pinnacle FHD will be available in retail stores from 20 July. Deliveries for pre-booking start from 20 July.

Thanks to the dual-core processor, we could easily browse the web and download apps from the Play Store. It smoothly handled heavy graphic games like Shadowgun. The onscreen keyboard is superb, but there is a slight lag when many apps are running in the background. The Stellar Pinnacle packs in an 8MP rear camera loaded with settings such as HDR and other regular modes you would find in a point and shoot. But don't expect outstanding results as we noticed noise in almost all images captured with this camera. For video calling Spice has added a 5MP front camera with HDR setting.

Compared to the newly launched Canvas 4, the Pinnacle does have a processor that is clocked faster ( Canvas 4 is clocked at 1.2Ghz ) and a better screen resolution. The Canvas 4 on the other hand has a better resolution camera (13 megapixel rear and 5 megapixel front) and more memory space (16GB).
